Abbey Hendricks CEBS

Abbey Hendricks is a vice president in the Aon Health Solutions Legal Consulting Group. She consults with employers on all aspects of health and welfare employee benefits issues, including legal issues and compliance with the Affordable Care Act, ERISA and COBRA. Abbey also advises Aon’s Time Away and Life Solutions on paid sick leave and paid family leave as well as on FMLA and related laws. Be- fore joining Aon, Abbey practiced employee benefits law at a law firm in the Pacific Northwest, where she advised clients on plan design, compliance and communications. Prior to law school, she also held various human resources and benefit plan administration positions in both the corporate and nonprofit/governmental sectors. Abbey has spoken at state and regional conferences, discussing legal developments and employee benefits compliance. She has authored numerous blog posts, articles and legal updates on benefits 
and compensation issues impacting employers. Abbey received a bachelor of arts degree, with high honors, from Metropolitan State University of Denver. She holds the Certified Employee Benefit Specialist® (CEBS®) designation. Abbey earned her law degree from Lewis & Clark Law School, with honors, and is admitted to practice law in Oregon.
