Anne Sperling CSA, LPRT
Anne P. Sperling is the president and CEO of Vanguard Resources, Inc. She brings clarity to employee benefits through teaching, coaching, consulting, and selling employee benefits products and services. Sperling has over 38 years of employee benefits experience. She was the national chair of the professional development committee for the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU) for five years. As national committee chair, Sperling personally authored and taught two certification courses called “Voluntary Worksite Benefits” and “Understanding the Patient Protection Affordable Care Act.” She also served as the state legislative chair for AHU New Mexico for over 20 years and in doing so educated many state legislators, state staff members and governors on health care reform issues. She currently teaches a course on communicating employee benefits for the International Foundation. Sperling also teaches a new insurance producer course for the National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research as well as certifications for the Independent Insurance Agents of New Mexico. She has received numerous awards for her distinguished service to her profession and to her community, including the prestigious New Mexico Women of Influence Award, Santa Fe Business Woman of the Year, Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year awards, highest level lifetime achievement leading producer round table designation and the NAHU “Anne Sperling Award.” Sperling was the founder and executive director for the New Mexico Health Insurance Alliance, a nonprofit alliance of insurers to provide coverage to small businesses. She has a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in human resources and compensation administration from the University of Vermont.
