Flora Vivaldo M.S.W.
Flora Vivaldo is senior director of Aetna Behavioral Health, a CVS Health company and leading provider of mental health and employee assistance program (EAP) solutions to members around the globe. She leads multiple strategic mental health initiatives and oversees a diverse team spearheading the development and execution of integrated suicide prevention programs. She previously served as regional director for Aetna Behavioral Health where she led clinical call center operations and innovative quality outcomes for members in a five-state region, and she is a former president of the California subsidiaries of Magellan Health Services, where she drove state-wide behavioral health clinical care services while expanding product lines, growing the business and decreasing mental health care expenditures. Ms. Vivaldo has been the architect of highly successful colleague engagement, continuing education and leadership development programs and maintains a passion to advance diverse, equitable, inclusive cultures within mental health care delivery. In recognition of her leadership in implementing mental health federal parity legislation, she received the Aetna Chairman’s award. Ms. Vivaldo’s additional clinical roles include managing a private practice and other direct care positions, including those in inpatient mental health and substance use disorder rehabilitation settings. She holds an M.S.W. degree from Boston College and will be pursuing a doctorate in social work starting in May of 2021.
